Age Care Fees

Provision and payment for Age Care Facilities is an expensive process, the first part is the entry fee or Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), once this has been achieved then we will need to discuss the ongoing payments to cover the care given to the resident.

Standard Resident Contribution (formerly Daily Care Fee)
Basic cost of the care given to the age care resident, more details can be found here.

Means Tested Fee (formerly Income Test Fee)
This is an additional fee based on both your income and asset level, more details can be found here.

Extra Service Fee
Some Age Care Facilities offer additional services to their residents (such as weekly massage, menu choice for all meals, etc) this comes as an additional fee and is entirely optional.
